Kariya is able to wooden machines to open the North and West gates to Seireitei. Once they are in the gates , a small Shinigami meets them but Kariya uses his wind power and forces them away. Sawatari and Koga set off to attack the captains while Yoshi and Mabashi try to distract anyone who will get in the way of Sawatari and Koga. Kariya sets off to find the one thing that he will need if he ever wants to destroy Seireitei.
