Commander Yamamoto puts Hitsugaya in charge of trying to capture the bount. Meanwhile Kariya and Koga have landed in Rukongai and are confronted by Captain Oomaeda and Iba. Kigoa tells Kariya that he can handle the captain and than brings out Karuku and defeats some Shinigami soldiers along with Oomaeda. Iba tries to attack but the bount stops Iba.Koga defeats Iva and Oomaeda .
