Ichigo returns home to his family. Summer break is over and all are returning to school. Inoue comes very close to telling what happened at eh Soul Society. Ichigo hears a voice he knows outside the window. He goes out to find Renji. While arguing with Renji about his demotion they are attacked by a Hollow. Ichigo quickly and easily defeats the Hollow before it makes its way to the school.
