Aizen has left and life tries to get back to normal. There are fighting matches and people visiting grave sites of lost comrades. Ichigo is fighting in matches but runs away when Captain Zaraki arrives to fight him. Kira and Matsumoto share food and drink together. Ishida makes clothes for all in the group, even Rukia. Rukia disappears and no one knows where she has gone.
